Parking Enforcement Hope Valley

This morning, our local team conducted patrols in the area. Regrettably, a small number of visitors have parked illegally on Winnats Pass and along the top road by Mam Tor. As a result, these vehicles have either been moved on or parking tickets have been issued.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that both Winnats Pass and the road from Mam Tor down to Edale are designated as "CLEARWAYS." This designation prohibits stopping at any time, and clear signage is displayed at both ends of the road to indicate this regulation.

Additionally, we observed that several vehicles were parked illegaly yesterday in the Yorkshire Bridge area of Bamford for parking on double white lines. To clarify, parking is not permitted where there are two white lines painted down the centre of the road, regardless of whether they are broken or solid.

We kindly urge all motorists to park respectfully to avoid enforcement actions. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated
